For beginners, I would like to tell you guys that K-dramas are quite sensitive & emotional. They do contain the elements of thriller, horror, suspense in some dramas but generally, they are more like a picture-perfect-fairy-tale. Love & Romance is a major genre in every drama. Also, the portrayal of characters and love or romance isn't like the one as we see in our Hollywood series or Bollywood series, it is kind of a very sentimental & cute one. The characters are real, conventional, filled with cuteness, fun & love. And I guess, this is what makes them stand out from the crowd. Their cultural integrity & portrayal of strong real emotions. Some people also tend to feel that they are kind of slow but believe me, despite being the slow factor, they still are worth watching!
